Happy Summer! We are happy you will be joining our family next year! I set up a section of our website which will contain the information you need for next year (calendars, school supply lists, uniforms, etc.) https://sttheresenola.org/22-23-school-year. It is under construction right now but as things become available I will post them there - just be sure you are looking at things marked 22-23 school year. There is also a NEWS section on the home page of our website https://sttheresenola.org/news I will post all the emails I send in case you miss something, you can refer back. Please be patient with us as we are coordinating the move these next few weeks. As we transfer our school phones, you can always reach us via email at nalvarez@sttheresenola.org, sbland@sttheresenola.org and dhiggins@sttheresenola.org.. Please let me know if you have any questions! Nicole

2020-21 Scholarship Applications: The ACE application opens to new applicants on Monday, March 2nd at 8am CST. Families will visit our website at www.acescholarships.org at that time and will click on a link on our homepage that will direct them to the online application form through TADS. New applicants will need to fill out the application form completely, upload their required income and residency documents, and submit the nonrefundable $35 per family application fee in order for their application to be complete and be considered for funding. *There will be no access code for new applicants. We have limited funding for new applicants this year, and the application will stay open for only a limited amount of time this year. Since we process and award qualified applicants on a first come, first served basis, families will need to apply as soon as the application opens for their best chance to be considered for scholarship funding for 2020-21.
At one table, 7-year-old Daron White used brightly colored foam letters to spell out the word "bat," followed by "hat." At another, instructor Shannon Bland bent over a worksheet about an owl named Oliver, reading directions for 8-year-old Harmony Johnson to draw and then color in a picture of the nocturnal bird. "See? It's giving you steps to follow," Bland said, as Harmony nodded. The small-group exercises, which took place Friday at St. Thérèse Academy, are just one of many ways the new Catholic school is trying to serve elementary and high school students with mild to moderate learning disabilities.
